In memory of Grampy
This last week has been one of the hardest in my life. My beloved Grampy passed away on the 28th leaving all of us so suddenly. This was a man with a big heart that touched so many I wish everyone could have met him. I have always looked to him for the advice one would expect from from their father. I spent many hours at his feet riding the horse or at his side fishing the many spots around Oregon. He has always been the one to praise me in my success and kick me in the ass when needed (and it has been needed). He was there when life hit me the hardest to let me know he loved me and was proud of me. I enjoyed our talks as I have gotten older about religion, politics. running a business and over all life. I was proud to share with him the joys of my life my sons Tyler and Liam. I was so happy to have just spent several days with him when he came to visit us in Cali and spend some precious time with him. Those will be moments I hold in my memory for the rest of my life. All I can hope is that we will meet again to go on that last great fishing trip. I love you Grampy!!

Olancha CA
Ty and I are out in Olacha CA on a trip for work which I must say makes me almost feel bad for charging them so much....almost!! I am out here at a welding shop on a bridge project and brought Ty along for the week as well as the trailer. The first nite was Sunday which we spent at Olancha RV park which was pretty cool and we got to go swimming in the pool. Today we moved the trailer next to a lake on the the property that the shop I am working at is on. The owners have quite the set up out here and have invited us to set up the trailer at the lake. SO here we are just a 3 min walk to work and a great view and some fishing to boot. Gonna spend the week out here working hard with Ty and catching some fish. We are about 101 miles from death valley and 80 miles south of Bishop. Well I will post again soon. OH and by the way Liam is starting to crawl!!!!

Great Lunch
Well today started out at 0430 with a 80 mile trip to Orange county for a job at 0530 then a quick 80 mile drive south to Escondido for another job which will end as soon as write this blog. (Hopefully no one tells them what I really do while charging time to the job) But today was broken up with Dannica and the 3 kids visiting me for lunch at Johnny Carino's which was really good. One day soon I will have enough guys working for me that I can eat lunch with them everyday during their summer breaks. Till then it sure is nice to see them once in awhile during the day. I got to say I laugh everytime I see Liam in his biker helmet....its pretty damm cute!! Alright I am out of here gonna go get me some baby slobber!!

Ah the HEAT!!
Well with it at around 105 to 110 degrees all weekend we spent most of the time in the water. Saturday we made the drive out to Dannica's Dad's company picnic and sat in the pool there. Then Sunday we stayed home mostly and sat in our pool and BBQ'd with some neighbors. As we were all sitting around relaxing our little boy started to chew on daddy's finger when I realized that I felt a tooth. So after a closer look Liam's first tooth is coming in and he is drooling all over the place. I must admit I am having a real hard time going to work with him just sitting there smiling at me wanting to play. But gotta do it!! Any who all is well here. Tyler got on the Honor roll for the 3rd trimester in a row and is on his way to Middle school. He is interested in joining the band and maybe the wrestling team. So we shall see how the new school is and what he gets into for activites. Sierra will be moving onto 5th grade is doing very well in school as well and she will be starting up soccer again in the next couple of weeks. We are hoping to get a couple trips in this summer out in the trailer but we will see how the gas prices look and then decide.

Father's Day 2008
It chokes me up to look at what great kids I have and reminds me everyday how good life really is. Who cares about work when I get to come home to those crazy kids no matter if they are constantly pushing the envelope or filling his diaper with a smile or getting cranky because I ask for the trash to go out. But that is the part that really matters because I have failed if I don't succeed at making these three successful people and by that I mean capable of making good choices and standing up for themselves and feeling good about the person they are!! Then with that success will come the worldly success. So with all that said I love being a dad more than ANYTHING else in the world and am thankful for the opportunity.

Crazy work
Just got back from my one day trip up to Reno, NV to talk to a Company about a contract I got in late last night and had to get up 5 hours later to make it in to work. But that is the way it goes when building an empire no rest for the weary!!! LOL Any who!! It is pretty nice up there so if all things line up I may be up in the area for a little while. I lost $2 in vegas on my stop over but at least the Lakers won their game!!! Three to go baby and its all ours!!! Well the kids are almost out of school and making plans for their summer! I am hoping to see some family and get to take the trailer out to the river!! We have already been chillin out in the pool and Liam loves it everytime. Nothing beats sitting in the pool drinking a cold beer when its freeking hot out!!! Well I better get back to work.......

First Timer
For all that know me I am a proud daddy and fun loving kind of guy. I am going to try this blogging thing out since my two little sisters are blogger's too. I am currently living in the SoCal where I have recently bought a house with my girlfriend Dannica and combined our families making us a crew of 5. Sierra is 10 soon to be 11 and quite the social butterfly as well as a great big sister to her baby brother. Tyler who is also 10 and such a great all around kid and who loves to play on the computer and hang with dad. And then there is Liam who is probably the most hugged and kissed 5 month old in the world. He came to us the day after Christmas 2007 and we all love him greatly!! Then of course the woman that holds it all together and keeps me in line is Dannica who is a stay at home mom/my business partner/chef/researcher/ and anything else we need. She has made quite a move from her hometown of Santa Clarita Valley where she had spent the majority of her life prior to moving with me down to Menifee. As for me I have been busy since leaving the Navy after my five year enlistment. I came to CA and went to school to become a commercial diver after which I went to work as an Inspector where I found the opportunity to start my own company and make a decent living for my family. But the adventure is still just beginning and there is still so much more to do!!
